The EWC26 Superfan Program Terms and Conditions for Club Team Liquid Superfan Selection - PARIS
Terms and Conditions
Club Team Liquid, with its registered office located at 2890 Colorado Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90404 (hereinafter "Club") is hereby offering its fans the chance to win a free trip to the 2026 Esports World Cup (the “EWC”) and 2026 Esports World Cup Festival (the “Festival”), both occurring in Paris, France on the dates determined by the Esports Foundation (“EF”) in 2026 comprising of the EWC26 Superfan Package (as defined in Clause 8 below) (the “Promotion”). Participation in the Promotion is free of charge, not linked to the purchase of goods or services and is subject to the following terms and conditions (the "T&Cs").
Participation is open exclusively to persons who, at the time of submission, are 18 years of age or older and meet the residence, nationality, and package-eligibility criteria approved for the Paris edition of the Promotion and set out in the Application Form (a "Participant"). Employees, freelancers, coaches, players and third-party service providers of the Club and/or any employees or freelancers of EF, as well as their partners and relatives, are not eligible to participate.
The Participant must submit all information (an “Application”) set out in the online entry available on the applicable Club’s website (the “Application Form”) between July 6, 2026, and August 24, 2026 (the “Promotion Period”). Any Applications received outside the Promotion Period will not be considered. Participant warrants and represents that all information submitted in their Application is truthful and accurate.
By submitting their Application, the Participant agrees to the applicability of these T&Cs. Only one (1) application for one (1) Club per Participant is permitted. Making multiple Applications or the submission of false, misleading or inaccurate information will result in the Participant’s disqualification from the Promotion. Submitting an Application does not create any legal claim or entitlement for the Participant to be selected for the EWC26 Club Superfan Program.
All valid Applications received during the Promotion Period will be entered into a random prize draw. The draw will, approximately, take place within [five (5)] business days following the conclusion of the Promotion Period using a process, location, and/or electronic selection method approved for the Paris Promotion and compliant with applicable consumer, promotional, and prize-draw requirements and [40] total applicants will be selected during the prize draw.
Selected Club Superfans must confirm acceptance of their selection within five (5) clear calendar days of receiving the notification email. If: (a) the Club does not receive a confirmation email within this period; and/or (b) the information provided is incomplete or inaccurate and the Club is unable to contact the Selected Club Superfan, the selected Club Superfan’s award of the EWC26 Superfan Package (as defined below) shall be forfeited without any entitlement to compensation or substitution, and the Club may select an alternative Club Superfan. A binding agreement between the Club Superfans and the Club is established only upon receipt of an acceptance email sent by the Club Superfan by the Club.
The Club’s decision on all matters relating to the Promotion, including the validity of Applications and the selection of Club Superfans, is final. No correspondence will be entered into except to notify selected Club Superfans.
Club Superfans who have been selected by the Club and subsequently confirm acceptance of their selection in accordance with Clause 6 shall be entitled to receive the following prize provided by the Club and/or EF:
one (1) return flight, as applicable, to Paris, France from a departure airport (selected by the Club in its sole discretion) in the country where the Participant is a permanent resident or another origin point approved by the Club for the Paris package in economy class or equivalent travel class on an airline or rail operator, and on dates, selected by the Club in its sole discretion. Club Superfans must ensure they are available to travel between July 6, 2026, and August 24, 2026. In the event that they are not available to travel during this time, they shall forfeit their entitlement to the EWC26 Superfan Package without any entitlement to compensation or substitution;
one (1) 2026 Esports World Cup weekly ticket (the “Ticket”) granting access to the 2026 Esports World Cup for the tournament selected by the Superfan as part of their Application (the dates of which are determined by EF). The entitlements and access granted under the Ticket shall be determined by EF (in its sole discretion);
five (5) nights’ accommodation for one (1) person in a three (3) or four (4) star hotel in Paris, France or the Paris metropolitan area selected by EF (in its sole discretion) (the “Hotel”);
a shuttle or local transfer service (at times to be determined by EF) between the: (i) arrival airport serving Paris, France and the Hotel on the Club Superfan’s arrival; (ii) Hotel and the EF-designated EWC and/or Festival venue(s) in Paris or the Paris metropolitan area (one (1) return journey) (iii) Hotel and the departure airport serving Paris, France on the Club Superfan’s day of departure;
one (1) “Superfan Welcome Bag” containing a selection of promotional items and gifts (with the exact contents to be determined by the Club or EF in its sole discretion);
fast track access to Festival installations (with the exact installations to be determined by EF) at the EF-designated Festival location(s) in Paris or the Paris metropolitan area;
prioritised access to fan activities organized by the Club during the Club Superfan’s attendance in Paris, France.
9. The EWC26 Superfan Package is strictly limited to the travel dates and departure/arrival locations determined by the Club (in its sole discretion) and subject to Club Superfan meeting all international travel eligibility requirements and being granted any short-stay Schengen visa, visa waiver, travel authorization, or other entry permission required for travel to France and, where applicable, the Schengen Area during the applicable travel dates (a “Travel Authorization”). By submitting their Application, Participants confirm that they are not aware of any circumstances which would, or would be likely to, result in them being denied entry to France or the Schengen Area. The costs of securing the initial Travel Authorization application or approved visa-support service for the Club Superfan shall be borne by Club only where confirmed as part of the Paris package. The Club shall not be responsible for the cost of any changes to the Travel Authorization following the initial application or in the event of any reapplication.
10. In the event that: (a) the Club Superfan refuses to accept the Club’s selected travel dates and/or departure/arrival locations; and/or (b) the Club Superfan is denied or otherwise not granted a Travel Authorization or entry permission for France or the Schengen Area for any reason, the Club Superfan forfeits their entitlement to the EWC26 Superfan Package and the Club shall be entitled to select an alternative Club Superfan.
11. Excluding the EWC26 Superfan Package and the costs associated with the initial Travel Authorization application or approved visa-support service for the Club Superfan, the Club will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred by the Club Superfan during their participation in the Promotion and travel in France or the Schengen Area including, without limitation any additional hotel and travel charges incurred by the Club Superfan for any reason. The Club Superfan shall remain liable for any harm or damage to persons or property caused by them (whether directly or indirectly) and the Club Superfan must provide credit card details to any hotel and/or travel providers for the purposes of securing a security deposit from them.
12. As a condition of their selection, the selected Club Superfan will be required to:
a) at the time of making their Application, be registered as a member of the Club’s fanbase at https://www.instagram.com/teamliquid/?hl=en, https://x.com/TeamLiquid?lang=en, https://x.com/TeamLiquidBR, https://www.instagram.com/teamliquidbr/?hl=en, https://www.instagram.com/teamliquid.id/?hl=en, https://www.instagram.com/teamliquid.ph/?hl=en;
b) purchase travel insurance covering their travel to and from, and stay in, France and, where relevant, the Schengen Area. The Club will not be responsible for arranging or paying for any such insurance for the selected Club Superfan;
c) have one (1) public social media account at the time of their Application and maintain at least one (1) public social media throughout their receipt of the EWC26 Superfan Package;
d) submit information and personal data including, without limitation, their name, age and valid passport details via a third-party platform and/or website owned or operated by the EF in order to facilitate the delivery of the EWC26 Superfan Package and any Paris travel, accommodation, ticketing, transport, or Travel Authorization support elements
e) attend certain on-site activations during their attendance at the EWC and the Festival in Paris, France at the reasonable direction of the Club and/or EF. By way of example only, these activations could include attending broadcast segments, meet-and-greets and/or mascot appearances; and
f) comply with any terms and conditions applicable to any elements of the EWC26 Superfan Package including, without limitation, EF terms applicable to EWC tickets, hotel terms and conditions, and any airline, rail operator, local transport, venue, and Festival access conditions, (the “Package Conditions”) and reserves the right to revoke the award of the EWC26 Superfan Package (in whole or in part at the Club’s discretion) to any Club Superfan who fails to adhere with the Package Conditions without offering any substitutions and/or alternatives.
13. The Club will not offer substitutions and/or alternatives for any part of the EWC26 Superfan Package (and they will not be redeemable for cash) and in the event that the Club Superfan refuses, or neglects, to make use of any part of the EWC26 Superfan Package at the times designated by the Club, the Club Superfan forfeits its entitlement to that part of the Club Superfan Package.
14. The Club Superfan acknowledges and agrees that while benefiting from the EWC26 Superfan Package, they may be filmed, photographed and/or interviewed in connection with content produced and distributed by (or on behalf of) the Club and/or EF.
15. The Club reserves the right to withdraw the EWC26 Superfan Package in the event that the 2026 Esports World Cup is postponed or cancelled for any reason. Should any such withdrawal occur, the Club will not offer substitutions and/or alternatives.
16. The Club Superfan is not entitled to transfer any rights granted to them under these T&Cs. The Club shall be entitled to transfer its rights and obligations under these T&Cs in its sole discretion and is entitled to engage third parties for the performance of its obligations without requiring prior consent from the Club Superfan. The Club Superfan agrees that such engagement shall not establish any contractual relationship between those third parties and the Club Superfan.
17. The Club reserves the right to reassign the EWC26 Superfan Package to another Participant if the originally designated Club Superfan, despite being duly notified via email, fails to: (a) provide any required information, data or documentation requested by the Club or otherwise necessary for the delivery of the EWC26 Superfan Package; (b) provide confirmation and satisfactory evidence of valid travel insurance covering their stay in France and, where relevant, the Schengen Area; and/or (c) provide all necessary cooperation with any third-party service providers within the communicated deadlines (including, without limitation, in connection with any flight, rail, hotel, local transport, ticketing, or Travel Authorization support bookings and submission of Travel Authorization and passport information).
18. Personal data collected and submitted by Participants and Club Superfans in connection with the EWC26 Superfan Package will be processed by the Club and, where applicable, EF for the purposes of: (a) selecting the Club Superfans; (b) arranging and providing the EWC26 Superfan Package, including travel, accommodation, Travel Authorization support, transportation, and event access; and (c) administering and assessing Applications (the “Purposes”). For these Purposes, the Club may share personal data with third-party service providers engaged to deliver the EWC26 Superfan Package, including (without limitation) airlines, rail operators, hotels, local transport providers, venue and ticketing providers, Travel Authorization support providers and the Esports World Cup Foundation. Some of these third parties may be located outside France, the European Economic Area, and/or the Participant’s country of residence. Any such transfers will be made in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including any GDPR requirements and appropriate safeguards where required. Where required by applicable law, Participants and Club Superfans may be asked separately whether they wish to receive marketing communications from: (i) the Club; and/or (ii) EF. Any such marketing communications are optional and are not a condition of participation in the Promotion or receipt of the EWC26 Superfan Package. Further information about how personal data is processed, including details of international transfers, retention periods and data subject rights, is set out in the applicable privacy notice(s), including EF’s website privacy policy and the Superfan Program privacy notice (where applicable), which Participants are encouraged to read carefully.
19. By accepting their selection as the Club Superfan in accordance with Clause 6, the Club Superfan consents to the publication of its name and/or a selected social media alias on the Club’s website and official social media channels for the purpose of announcing the selected Club Superfan. This consent may be withdrawn at any time following publication by email notification to the Club at the following email: [email protected].
20. Upon submission of their Application, the Applicant unconditionally and irrevocably assigns to the Club, absolutely and unconditionally with full title guarantee, all right, title and interest (including intellectual property rights) of whatever nature including any renewals, reversions, revivals and extensions, together with all accrued rights of action, for the full period of such rights, including any renewals, reversions, revivals and extension to any materials submitted as part of their Application. The Applicant shall promptly at the Club’s request, do (or procure to be done) all further acts and things (including but not limited to registrations and filings) and execute (or procure the execution of) all other documents as the Club may from time to time require to give full legal effect to, and secure for the Club all rights, title and interests in and to the intellectual property rights, assigned or licensed to the Club hereunder.
21. Any content commissioned by the Club featuring the Club Superfan or otherwise connected with the Promotion (each, "EWC Club Content") shall be the exclusive property of the Club. To the extent that any EWC Club Content does not absolutely and unconditionally vest in the Club from the date of creation, then from the date of creation until any formal assignment of copyright, design rights and all other intellectual property rights in and to such EWC Club Content, the Club Superfan shall grant, and procure the grant, to the Club of a fully paid-up, perpetual, irrevocable, exclusive, royalty-free, transferable (including the right to grant sub-licences), worldwide licence of the EWC Club Content for any purpose whatsoever including the right to exploit, copy, use, reproduce, distribute, publicly display and modify.
22. Club reserves the right to: (a) terminate the selection of the Club Superfan for any reason; or (b) amend these T&Cs, provided that such changes are necessary and do not unreasonably disadvantage the Participants.
23. Excluding any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law the:
a) Club will not be liable in contract, tort (including negligence and breach of statutory rights) or otherwise for any indirect, special, consequential, incidental, punitive losses or damages or loss of profits arising out of or in connection with this Promotion whether the Club was advised of the possibility of such damage and/or loss or otherwise or for any damages that were not reasonably foreseeable under the circumstances, including events outside of the parties control; and
b) Club’s liability shall be limited to [one thousand United States dollars (USD1,000)].
24. A list of winners of the Promotion (first name and country of residence only) will be available upon request by emailing [email protected]or using another winner-list request method approved for the Paris Promotion within [sixty (60)] days of the close of the Promotion Period.
26. Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid provision which, to the extent legally permissible, most closely reflects the economic intent and purpose of the original provision. The same shall apply in the event of an omission.
