OFFICIAL RULES

INNOCN/DIYP Photo Monitor Contest

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT AFFECT THE JUDGING OF AN ENTRY OR THE NUMBER OF PUBLIC VOTES IT RECEIVES. THIS IS A SKILL-BASED PHOTO CONTEST. WINNERS WILL NOT BE SELECTED BY RANDOM DRAW.

1. Sponsor and Administrator

The sponsor of the INNOCN/DIYP Photo Monitor Contest (the “Contest”) is INNOCN (the “Sponsor”).

The Contest is administered on behalf of the Sponsor by DIYP (the “Administrator”) through a Gleam campaign page.

The Administrator is responsible for operating the Contest, administering entries and public voting, coordinating judging and handling entrant information. Gleam provides the Contest platform but is not the Sponsor or Administrator and is not responsible for the administration, judging, prizes or fulfilment of the Contest.

2. Eligibility

The Contest is open worldwide to individuals who are at least 18 years old and have reached the legal age of majority in their country, state, province or jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry.

The Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Employees, independent contractors, interns, officers, directors and agents of the Sponsor or Administrator, together with their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and authorised Contest partners, and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible to enter.

The Contest is subject to all applicable national, federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations. It is each Entrant’s responsibility to confirm that participation is lawful in their jurisdiction.

3. Agreement to the Rules

By entering the Contest, each entrant (“You” or “Entrant”) confirms that they:

  1. have read, understood and agreed to these Official Rules;

  2. satisfy all eligibility requirements;

  3. agree to comply with the Contest’s entry requirements;

  4. agree to be bound by the decisions of the Sponsor, Administrator and appointed judges; and

  5. understand that decisions concerning eligibility, judging, voting integrity, prize allocation and interpretation of these Rules are final, subject to applicable law.

Questions, complaints or enquiries concerning the Contest should be directed to the Sponsor or Administrator rather than Gleam or any social-media platform.

4. Contest Schedule

The Contest consists of a 14-day submission period followed by a separate seven-day public-voting and private-judging period.

All times stated in these Rules are Eastern Time (“ET”) as observed in New York City.

Submission Period

The submission period begins on 14 July 2026 at 12:00 a.m. ET and ends on 27 July 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Submission Period”).

Photographs must be submitted during the Submission Period. Entries submitted before or after the Submission Period will not be eligible.

Public-Voting and Judging Period

Public voting and private judging begin on 28 July 2026 at 12:00 a.m. ET and end on 3 August 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Voting and Judging Period”).

No new entries may be submitted during the Voting and Judging Period.

The Sponsor’s, Administrator’s or Gleam’s computer systems will be the official timekeeping systems for the Contest.

5. How to Enter

To enter, an eligible Entrant must:

  1. submit an entry using the online form provided on this Contest page during the Submission Period;

  2. complete the required online entry form;

  3. submit one photograph that complies with the published Contest theme, brief and technical requirements;

  4. provide all requested information; and

  5. complete any email, identity, eligibility or fraud-prevention verification required by the Sponsor, Administrator or Gleam.

Each Entrant may submit one photograph only.

Multiple entries submitted by the same Entrant, including entries submitted using different email addresses, accounts, identities or devices, may be disqualified.

Entries that are incomplete, corrupted, inaccessible, submitted through an unauthorised method or otherwise fail to comply with these Rules may be rejected or disqualified.

Entrants may not use false identities, duplicate accounts, automated systems or other methods to circumvent entry or verification requirements.

No purchase, payment or social-media account is required to enter or win. Entrants may be required to provide a valid email address and complete the verification requirements used by the Contest platform.

6. Photograph Requirements

Each submitted photograph must:

  1. be an original photographic work created by the Entrant;

  2. be a genuine photograph produced using a camera;

  3. comply with the Contest theme and any published submission instructions;

  4. be submitted in an accepted file format and within any stated file-size limits;

  5. be suitable for public display;

  6. not infringe any copyright, trade mark, privacy, publicity, moral or other proprietary right belonging to another person;

  7. not contain material that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, obscene or otherwise inappropriate;

  8. not falsely represent the Entrant’s identity or authorship; and

  9. not have been submitted through fraudulent, automated or deceptive means.

Images created or materially generated wholly or partly using generative artificial-intelligence systems are not eligible.

Where the Sponsor or Administrator reasonably suspects that an entry was generated or materially created using artificial intelligence, the entry may be withheld from the public gallery, judging or prize consideration unless the Entrant provides satisfactory evidence that it is a genuine photograph.

Evidence of authenticity may include:

Failure to provide satisfactory evidence when requested may result in disqualification.

The Entrant must own the copyright in the photograph or possess all permissions necessary to enter it and grant the rights described in these Rules.

Where a photograph contains an identifiable person, privately owned property, artwork, trade mark or other protected material, the Entrant is responsible for obtaining any model release, property release or other permission reasonably required for the photograph’s submission, display and promotional use.

The Sponsor or Administrator may request evidence of authorship, original image files, metadata, releases or other supporting information. Failure to provide reasonably requested evidence may result in disqualification.

The Sponsor or Administrator may review, moderate, approve or reject entries before displaying them publicly. Acceptance into the public gallery does not constitute confirmation that an entry is eligible to win.

7. Public Voting

During the Voting and Judging Period, eligible approved photographs may be displayed in a public gallery through which members of the public can vote for their preferred entries.

The People’s Choice First Prize will be awarded to the eligible photograph receiving the highest number of valid public votes during the Voting and Judging Period.

Each voter may cast one vote for each photograph they wish to support. Voters may vote for as many different photographs as they like but may not cast more than one vote for the same photograph.

Voters will not be required to sign in using Facebook or another social-media account. Gleam’s anonymous-voting controls and any additional fraud-prevention measures implemented by the Sponsor or Administrator will apply.

Vote totals and rankings will remain hidden from the public throughout the Voting and Judging Period.

Votes may be invalidated where the Sponsor or Administrator reasonably determines that they resulted from:

Entrants may share their entries and ask others to vote, provided that they do not use misleading, coercive, fraudulent or prohibited methods.

Displayed or internally recorded voting figures may be subject to verification and adjustment. The Sponsor’s and Administrator’s verified voting records will determine the final People’s Choice result.

8. Private Judging and Runner-Up Selection

During the Voting and Judging Period, a judging panel appointed by the Sponsor or Administrator will privately evaluate eligible entries.

Entries may be considered according to factors including:

The eligible photograph selected as the judging panel’s favourite will receive the Judges’ Choice First Prize.

The three Runner-Up Prize winners will be selected at the judging panel’s discretion from the remaining eligible entries after both First Prize winners have been determined.

When selecting the Runner-Up Prize winners, the judging panel may consider:

The Runner-Up Prize winners are not required to be the photographs receiving the next-highest public-vote totals or any particular private judging scores.

Judging scores, notes, deliberations and individual judges’ assessments will remain confidential.

The judging panel’s decisions are final, subject to applicable law.

9. Ties, Duplicate Selections and Prize Limits

If two or more photographs receive the same highest verified public-vote total, the judging panel will select the People’s Choice First Prize winner from the tied photographs using the judging considerations described in Section 8.

The judging panel will resolve any tie or disagreement arising during private judging at its discretion.

Each Entrant may receive one prize only.

If the same photograph receives both the highest verified public-vote total and is selected as the judging panel’s favourite, that photograph will receive the Judges’ Choice First Prize.

The People’s Choice First Prize will then be awarded to the eligible photograph receiving the next-highest verified public-vote total.

The three Runner-Up Prize winners will then be selected from the remaining eligible entries, excluding both First Prize winners.

No winner will be selected randomly.

10. Prizes

A total of five prizes will be awarded.

One winner will receive one INNOCN CB32U1 32-inch 4K monitor.

The total approximate retail value of all prizes is US$2,445.

The actual retail value of a prize may differ at the time it is awarded.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be assigned, sold or exchanged. No cash alternative is available.

The Sponsor will arrange worldwide delivery of the prizes to eligible winners.

If an advertised prize becomes unavailable or cannot reasonably be supplied in a winner’s country, the Sponsor may substitute it with another prize of equal or greater approximate retail value.

Any taxes, customs charges, import duties, reporting obligations or other expenses associated with accepting or receiving a prize are the responsibility of the winner, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

A winner may decline a prize. No compensation, substitute payment or cash payment will be provided for a declined or forfeited prize.

11. Winner Notification and Verification

Potential winners will be contacted privately using the email address or other contact information supplied with their entries after the Voting and Judging Period has ended and within seven days of winner selection.

A potential winner may be required to provide:

A potential winner must respond and claim the prize within seven days after the notification is sent unless the Sponsor or Administrator provides a longer period.

A potential winner may be disqualified and the prize forfeited if they:

  1. cannot be contacted using the information provided;

  2. fail to respond within the required period;

  3. fail to provide reasonably requested verification;

  4. are found to be ineligible;

  5. have violated these Rules;

  6. refuse or are unable to accept the prize; or

  7. provided false, incomplete or misleading information.

Where a prize is forfeited, an alternate winner may be selected.

A forfeited People’s Choice First Prize will pass to the eligible photograph with the next-highest verified public-vote total.

A forfeited Judges’ Choice First Prize or Runner-Up Prize may be reassigned by the judging panel, at its discretion, to another remaining eligible entry.

The Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for notifications blocked by spam filters, security settings, full inboxes, incorrect contact information or other circumstances outside their reasonable control.

12. Entrant Copyright and Licence

Entrants retain copyright ownership of their submitted photographs.

By submitting a photograph, the Entrant grants the Sponsor, Administrator and their authorised contest, media, fulfilment and promotional partners a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce, resize, crop for formatting, display, publish, distribute and communicate the submitted photograph:

  1. in connection with administering, judging and promoting the Contest;

  2. in the Contest gallery;

  3. on the Sponsor’s and Administrator’s websites, publications, newsletters and social-media channels;

  4. in publicity, editorial coverage and promotional material relating to the Contest; and

  5. in archival records of the Contest.

This licence does not transfer ownership of the photograph to the Sponsor or Administrator.

Where reasonably practicable, the Sponsor or Administrator will credit the Entrant using the name or display name provided with the entry. Failure to provide a credit because of platform limitations, formatting requirements or an inadvertent omission will not constitute a material breach of these Rules.

Except for technical formatting, resizing or cropping, the Sponsor and Administrator will not materially alter a photograph in a way that misrepresents the work or its creator without obtaining additional permission.

By entering, the Entrant represents and warrants that:

To the extent permitted by law, the Entrant agrees to be responsible for substantiated third-party claims arising directly from the Entrant’s breach of these representations.

13. Winner Privacy and Publicity

Potential and confirmed winners will be contacted privately.

The Sponsor and Administrator do not intend to publish the winners’ legal names, contact information or a public winners list.

The Sponsor and Administrator may continue to display submitted photographs under the licence granted in Section 12 but will not publicly identify an Entrant as a prize winner by name without that Entrant’s separate consent, except where disclosure is required by law.

No winner will be required to participate in additional publicity, advertising or promotional activity as a condition of receiving a prize, except where permitted by applicable law and separately agreed by the winner.

14. Privacy

The Administrator will handle personal information collected in connection with the Contest.

Personal information may be used to:

Information may be processed through Gleam and by service providers involved in operating the Contest or delivering prizes.

Personal information will otherwise be handled in accordance with the Administrator’s privacy policy:

https://www.diyphotography.net/diyphotography-privacy-policy/

Entrants and voters may have privacy and data-protection rights under the laws applicable in their jurisdiction.

15. Contest Integrity and Disqualification

The Sponsor or Administrator may disqualify an Entrant or invalidate an entry or vote where it reasonably determines that the Entrant or voter has:

The Sponsor or Administrator may take reasonable steps to investigate suspected misconduct and may request information from Entrants or voters for verification purposes.

16. Modification, Suspension or Cancellation

The Sponsor or Administrator reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to modify, suspend, extend, postpone or cancel the Contest where circumstances outside their reasonable control prevent the Contest from being operated fairly or safely.

Such circumstances may include technical failure, platform outage, malware, unauthorised interference, fraud, widespread voting manipulation, natural disaster, legal restriction or another event that materially affects the administration or integrity of the Contest.

Where reasonably possible, the Sponsor and Administrator will select winners from eligible entries and valid votes received before the disruption, applying the judging and voting methods stated in these Rules.

The Sponsor and Administrator will not substitute a random draw for the published selection process.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Sponsor, Administrator and their respective affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors will not be liable for loss or damage arising from:

Nothing in these Rules excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

18. Disputes and Governing Law

These Rules and the Contest will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Contest that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York, except where an Entrant is entitled to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction under applicable mandatory consumer-protection law.

Nothing in these Rules removes or limits any statutory or consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted.

19. No Public Winners List

Winners will be informed privately using the contact information supplied with their entries.

The Sponsor and Administrator will not publish a public winners list or publicly disclose winners’ legal names or contact details, except where disclosure is required by applicable law.

20. Social-Media and Platform Disclaimer

The Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, X, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, LinkedIn or any other social-media platform through which the Contest is promoted or shared.

The Contest is administered using technology provided by Gleam. Gleam is not the Sponsor, Administrator, judge or prize provider and is not responsible for the Contest or its prizes.

Entrants and voters understand that they are providing their information to the Sponsor, Administrator and their authorised service providers rather than to any social-media platform.

21. Acceptance of the Rules

By submitting an entry, the Entrant confirms that they have affirmatively reviewed, accepted and agreed to these Official Rules and any entry requirements published on the Contest page.
