HOW TO ENTER: No purchase necessary. To enter, go online at https://houseandhome.com/StyleSnapSend and submit your photo, completely fill out the entry form, including your mailing address, e-mail address and daytime telephone number, accept these Contest rules, then click on the Submit button. Entrants must complete all mandatory fields on the Contest entry form and submit the completed form during the Contest Period in order to earn entry for a chance to win.
By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to be legally bound by these Official Contest Rules and Regulations (the “Rules”). Prior to clicking on the Submit button, Participants may use the Contest widget on the entry form to earn additional entries. Actions that will allow a user to earn additional Contest entries include: Uploading one (1) photo directly or from Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, Viral Share (allow entrants to refer friends for extra entries via Email, Facebook, Twitter, Messenger, WhatsApp), that shows a Scotties® tissue box in a room, or visiting Scotties.ca. Participants may earn anywhere from 1-10 (one to ten) entries in the Contest for each action completed using the Contest widget during the Contest Period.
The Scotties® 2023 Style. Snap. Send! Contest (the “Contest”) is administered by House & Home Media (the “Sponsor”). Kruger Products Inc. (“Scotties”) is a prize provider only and has no responsibility for the administration of the Contest.
The contest commences on Monday, December 5, 2022, at 12:01 a.m. EST and ends Friday, March 31, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. EST (the “Contest Period”).
ELIGIBILITY: Contest is open to all residents of Canada who have reached the legal age of majority within their province or territory of residence, excluding employees, representatives, agents, families or affiliates (or those with whom they are domiciled) of House & Home Media, Scotties and each of their respective affiliated entities, advertising/ promotion agencies and any other individual(s), entity or entities involved in the development, production, implementation, administration or fulfillment of the Contest (the “Contest Parties”). The Contest is void where prohibited by law, and is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws.
CONTEST DRAW: One (1) winner will be selected, from among all eligible entries received, in a random draw conducted in Toronto, Ontario at the offices of House & Home Media on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. EST. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received in accordance with these Rules during the Contest Period.
PRIZE: Approximate prize value of $4,363.60. One (1) confirmed winner will receive the prize, one (1) year’s supply of Scotties®’ House & Home Designer Series tissue boxes (approx. $150), two (2)

Five (5) Runner up winners will receive the prize, one (1) year’s supply of Scotties®’ House & Home Designer Series tissue boxes (approx. $150), and one (1) one-year print and digital subscription to House & Home magazine (approx. value of $138.80 each, based on print and digital cover price per issue). Only the listed prize will be awarded and no substitutions, cash equivalents or exemptions will be made, it being understood and agreed, however, that Scotties reserves the right to substitute a different prize of equal or greater value if in the opinion of Scotties it becomes necessary. Other restrictions may apply. All provincial, federal and local taxes associated with the prize are the responsibility of the prize winner. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Selected entrant will be notified by email or phone. If a selected entrant cannot be reached within seven (7) business days of the Contest Draw, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, or fails to complete and return the required Contest documents, he/she will forfeit the prize and an alternate entrant will be randomly selected. The selected entrant will be sent a declaration and release form by e-mail. In order to be declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question on the declaration and release form and the form must be signed and returned to House & Home Media within the prescribed time period, releasing the Contest Parties, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest and all of their respective affiliates, directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (the “Releasees”) from any and all claims or causes of action arising out of the entrant’s participation in the Contest and receipt or use of the prize, confirming compliance with the Contest Rules, accepting the prize as awarded and consenting to the use of his or her name, without compensation, in any future publicity carried out by the Contest Parties in connection with this Contest. If the potential winner is found to be ineligible, declines to accept the prize, or in the event that the prize confirmation or prize is returned undeliverable, the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to select an alternate eligible entrant through a random draw from among the remaining eligible entries received in accordance with these Rules. GENERAL: This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. By entering the Contest, participants agree to be bound by these Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final on all matters relating to this Contest. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and none will be returned.
The Sponsor reserves the right, subject only to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux (the “Régie”) in Quebec, to withdraw, amend or suspend this Contest (or to amend these Rules) in any way, in the event of any cause beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor that interferes with the proper conduct of this Contest as contemplated by these Rules, including, without limitation, any error, problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or failure of any kind whatsoever. Any attempt to damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest in any way (as determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion) may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
For Quebec residents: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
The Sponsor reserves the right, subject only to the approval of the Régie in Quebec, to adjust any of the dates, timeframes and/or other Contest mechanics stipulated in these Rules, to the extent deemed necessary by the Sponsor, for purposes of verifying compliance by any entrant or entry and/or other information with these Rules, or as a result of any technical or other problems, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of the Sponsor, in its sole and absolute discretion, affect the proper administration of the Contest as contemplated in these Rules, or for any other reason.
By entering this Contest, each entrant expressly consents to the Sponsor, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his/her entry for the purpose of administering the Contest and in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy (available at: http://houseandhome.com/privacy). This section does not limit any other consent(s) that an individual may provide the Sponsor or others in relation to the collection, use and/or disclosure of their personal information. The Sponsor will use the personal information you provide on the entry form to contact you if you are selected as the winner, and to supply your name and contact information to Scotties for the purpose of arranging delivery of the prize.
By accepting a prize or participating in the Contest, each entrant consents to the use of his/her name, voice, statements relating to the promotion , and photographs or other likenesses, without further compensation, in any publicity and/or media carried out by House & Home Media, Scotties or any related entities in connection with this promotion, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media now known or hereafter devised, including without limitation the Internet, unless prohibited by law. On the request of House & Home Media or Scotties, Contest entrants also agree to provide a signed version of such consents.
By entering the contest, each entrant releases and holds harmless the Releasees from any and all liability for injuries, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever including without limitation personal injury, death or property damage resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, participation in this contest, or participation in any prize related activity and agrees to fully indemnify the Releasees, and all of their respective directors, officers and employees from claims by third parties without limitation.
Entrants (i) acknowledge compliance with these Rules including all eligibility requirements; (ii) consent to the broadcast, publication and/or use, in any medium whatsoever, including any websites operated by House & Home Media, of the entrant’s name, Contest submission, and his/her participation in the prize, for publicity purposes carried out by the House & Home Media or Scotties or their respective advertising and promotional agencies without payment or compensation of any kind; and (iii) agree that Releasees are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, microsite, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, spam filtering mechanisms, computer equipment, software, inability to access any microsite, website or online service, or any other error or malfunction, including any injury or damage to the entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that tampers with the operation of this Contest or website or violates the Rules of this Contest.
All entries and entrants are subject to verification at any time and for any reason. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (in a form acceptable to Sponsor – including, without limitation, government issued photo identification) for the purposes of verifying an entrant’s eligibility to participate in this Contest or for any other reason Sponsor deems necessary, in its sole and absolute discretion, for the purposes of administering this Contest in accordance with the letter and spirit of these Rules. If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the email address for the domain associated with the submitted email address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof of being the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid email account that may be identified by reverse domain name search.
All decisions of Sponsor are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest. Sponsor is not responsible for the failure, for any reason, of an eligible winner to receive notification or for the failure to receive the response of an eligible winner.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube or Pinterest, and each platform is hereby completely released of all liability by each entrant in this Contest. Standard data rates apply to participants who choose to participate in the Contest via a mobile device. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Rules or the rights and obligations of participants, Sponsor or any of the other the Releasees in connection with the Contest will be governed by and construed in accordance with the domestic laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws. The parties hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Ontario in any action to enforce (or otherwise relating to) these Rules or relating to the Contest.
